The servers will be taken down at 11:00 am pacific time and we expect them to be down for four to six hours.

Our U.S. online store is currently sold out of the Blizzard Authenticators, and we're working on obtaining additional stock. Please note that due to the nature of the technology in the device and the related manufacturing procedures, it will be several weeks before they're available again. We're working hard to expedite this process as much as possible.
We're also aware that non-U.S.-based players on our North American realms were unable to purchase the Blizzard Authenticator from the online store when ...

Neth, any word on why Jeff Kaplan wasnt there (or was it Tom Chilton? It was one or the other)
Also, Tseric still works for Blizzard? o.o
Mr. Cook is also a very nice press person don't you think.
Edit: 1st time being quoted by a blue
Edit 2: did a mage just tell a blue to shut up?
Mr Kaplan was here continuing to work while a select group of developers made an appearance at the Worldwide Invitational.
No, there was a mistake on an article that was corrected and yes, Mr. Cook is a very nice press person as were all of the fansites that were able to attend. :) It was great getting to meet everyone who I hadn't had the chance to before.
Yes, Virginia, there is a Diablo 3.

This week's addition to the Blizzard Europe Fan Art Gallery is a very photogenic image of the zergling from StarCraft! This week's submission comes from our talented artist Shader. This submission is so realistic, it will make you look around wondering if you're about to suffer an infestation!

We have just updated the Wrath of the Lich King Bestiary with a new creature: the Flesh Giant.
The same dark sorcery used to command the Scourge's powerful abominations is utilized to even greater effect in the harsh and distant realm of Northrend. Here the Lich King has focused his malefic powers on flesh giants...
Check out the Bestiary to learn more!

Great guides :-) At first I thought you'd just linked to some existing ones, then I realised you'd written them yourself! Nice work! We liked them so much, we've linked to your post from the Forum Watch on the main page. I've edited your original post so the links will work.

We're happy to announce that the Russian forums are now open, giving Russian-speaking players a place to gather and discuss about the upcoming Russian Technical Alpha, Localization Beta and release. Please observe the forum guidelines when posting, and especially note that the only allowed language on the Russian forums is, naturally, Russian.

Q u o t e:
I lol'd at the translation. Worst translation ever.
If you'll read the testing announcement on the Russian forums you'll see that this is a Technical Alpha test, currently running with an old and incomplete version of the localization. The proper version will come with patch 2.4.3. :)
I'm not dead! I'm restin'!
Servers are now up and running.
